Howard, LLP is pleased to announce Tim Pike has been unanimously elected by his fellow partners to serve as Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2021, at the conclusion of current Managing Partner Gary Kroll’s term.
“I am highly honored to be selected as Howard’s next Managing Partner leading, serving and supporting a talented, client-focused, and community-engaged CPA firm that upholds the accounting profession’s highest values,” said Tim. “We will build on our success and continue to deliver the highest level of service for our clients. And I am committed to the success and cultivation of every team member of Howard which is the springboard for our client service.”
Tim succeeds Gary Kroll. “Identifying and developing leaders is an integral part of Howard’s succession and continuity planning, and we are excited for what the future has in store with Tim being named our next Managing Partner,” commented Gary. “Tim will elevate our firm’s future as a strategic, decisive, resilient leader. He has shown that he possesses a rare combination of essential qualities including the ability to thoughtfully synthesize ideas and facts, make good judgements and act even where difficult, with a balance of empathy and resolve. The partners of the firm have no doubt that he will successfully lead our CPA firm into its next generation,” added Gary. Gary will remain active in the firm by continuing to serve as a tax partner as well as continuing in a leadership position with his role on the firm’s Partner Board.
Tim, who joined Howard in 2004 and became an audit partner in 2016, has more than 21 years of experience serving clients in a diverse range of industries. He has been regularly recognized for his straightforward, yet compassionate approach with his clients and in the accounting community. Throughout the last decade, Tim has been deeply involved in the firm’s management and has been responsible for recruiting and employee development programs. Beyond the office walls, Tim is an active member in the community, serving in several capacities, including previously chairing TXCPA Dallas, current executive committee member of the TXCPA, and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the state peer review committee.
