Dallas, Texas, March 2016 – March is here and so is one of the busiest tax times of the year! Below are some important tax dates whether you are a business or individual.
March 15
- Corporation and S Corporation returns are due or must be extended
- Payroll tax deposits are due if you are a monthly filer
March 31
- E-file all Forms W-2, 1098, 1099 and 8027
April 18
- Individual’s tax returns are due or must be extended
- Individual’s first quarter 2016 estimated tax payment is due
- Partnership tax returns are due or must be extended
- Household employee, Schedule H, is due with individual’s tax return
- Corporation’s first quarter 2016 estimated tax payment is due
- Payroll tax deposits are due if you are a monthly filer
April 19
- File Form 720 for the first quarter
May 2
- File Form 941 for the first quarter
- Deposit FUTA tax owed through first quarter if more than $500
- Texas employer’s – File TWC Form C-3 for first quarter
