We’re excited to honor Calvin, a Howard Tax Specialist, for one year with the firm! Dedicated and thoughtful, Calvin is an important member of our team. In his own words, we “can’t believe it’s been a year” with him already! Get to know Calvin better with some Q&A below.

What is your favorite story from working at Howard?

Last year’s holiday party. Everyone brought food and good conversation – it was a very joyful party!

Team member’s note: this is one of our favorite memories too, and it gave us the chance to really see Calvin’s friendly personality!

How do you use one of the Howard values regularly in your role?

Teamwork. Every tax return is a project, and we need to work as a team to complete each project. As a Specialist, I regularly reach out to managers and supervisors for necessary help and to get essential feedback on projects. I also try to provide help to my fellow team members the best that I can.

How does working at Howard help you accomplish your personal and/or professional goals? 

Being able to work in a more challenging environment makes me more energetic and positive.
